It might be someone else who needs to fix the issue, but you should always point out problems with the way we do things. When you point it out, do so with empathy and respect for others.
Always look for ways to streamline and simplify. Look for simpler, more efficient ways of doing everything; any task can be improved. Think one step ahead instead of two. Explain things in the simplest way possible — the power of a well understood idea trumps a personal flex of how smart you are.
